| 1LT Herby and Diana Davis in Bangkok. Herby was TDY to our Bangkok site for some time. His bride, Diana, joined him there. On my 2nd week of TDY there, the two of us did all the flying, and released the regular crew for some unannounced R & R, so we took Diana with us for several flights. After all, the embassy wives were on board, so why not take Diana? She loved
flying with us to strange places she would not have seen otherwise. She sat in the cockpit on a board we rigged up between the radio and hydraulic racks, so she could see her husband working. A really neat couple. |
