| This hamlet was right outside the edge of the runway and maintenance building at Qui Nhon. A chicken wire fence separated the villagers from the airfield (sometimes). Kids and old ladies would stand at the fence all day every day asking us to throw cardboard or any wood or metal building materials to them. It was illegal to throw anything with metal parts over the fence. |
