Tent City
A view of the tents of Ellisville. I Believe the tent city was named after a WO who was a real task master during the construction.  I believe we constructed the whole tent area in two days of steady rain.  Mr. Ellis had the work laid out so even we incompetent construction workers could build the tent frames. Several crews specialized in assembling one rafter, side panel, or end panel and other crews specialized in connecting those items together. Another group spread the tent over the completed framing. sidewalks were leftover pallets.
