Captain Robert Perry Jeter I wanted to let the Association know that Robert Perry Jeter passed away on Dec. 15, 2016 in Alabama. He was 70. Bobby and I entered pilot training together at Laughlin, AFB in 1968 and were roommates. We were both assigned to the C-7A and traveled to Viet Nam on the same plane in Oct. 1969 and both were stationed at Phu Cat. He was with the 459th and I was with the 537th. After Viet Nam he flew KC-135's out of Carswell AFB. He was a great guy and a wonderful friend. Steve Martin |
