Chief Master Sergeant William A. Kuehner

William A. "Pop" Kuehner (1931 - 2008), 77, beloved father, brother and friend to many, quietly passed away Friday, Dec. 12, 2008, while sleeping.

The funeral was held at 11:30 a.m. on December 17, 2009 in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment was in the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.

William was born June 14, 1931, in Columbus, Ohio. He was a 30-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a Vietnam veteran [535th, 1970], retiring at the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. William was a 15-year retiree of the U.S. Postal Service. He was a lifelong member of American Legion Post 297 and VFW Post 8235. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast.

William was preceded in death by his parents, William Charles and Dorothy Elizabeth Moore Kuehner. Survivors: Sister, Dottie Lewis of Grove City, Ohio; sons, William (Shay), Michael (Susan), Curtis (Kathy) and Terrance (Karen); grandchildren, Amanda Kuehner, Brittany Kuehner, Jennifer Schreck, Michael Dawson and Kevin Dawson; great-granddaughters, Jordan Osmon and Calista Schrecki and many nieces, nephews and friends.
