Colonel Paul L. Peoples

Born March 1, 1931 in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, son of Paul R. and Elva L. (Buchheit) Peoples, died July 17, 2016 at the age of 85. A twenty-five year veteran of the Air Force, he served in the Logistics, Transportation and Packaging Research fields. [459th 1967]

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Joanne Kearney Peoples and son, Chris Duncan Peoples.

He is survived by his wife, Win Borough Peoples of Haslett, Michigan; daughter Leslie (John) McClafferty of Berryville, Virginia and grandson Nathan McClafferty; step-children Sue Borough (Dale) Fritzsche; Karen Kistler; Jean (Don) Williams; Jim (Ruth) Borough and five step-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held Wednesday, July 20, 2016, 1:00 pm at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 East Grand River Avenue, East Lansing, MI. The family received friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
