Master Sergeant Robert L. Pfister

Master Sergeant Robert L. Pfister

Beloved husband of Wendy, passed away from this life to a far better one on August 13, 2015. He is also survived by his children Steven, Joni, Lori, stepchildren Sherry, Scott, Tana, 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. This retired Vietnam veteran bravely fought cancer for 12 years, but finally lost the battle. He will be remembered for his smile, professionalism, sense of fun and humor, generosity, love of animals, and friendship. Those who met him and knew him well considered him a great and loving man. His happiest moments were spent fishing, travelling around the world with his wife, having a good meal with family or friends, our animals, sitting in the gazebo smoking his cigars enjoying life. Bob will be missed by many, but mostly Wendy.
[His Vietnam tour in 1967-68 was with the 483rd CAMS (hydraulic shop) where he was named the NCO of the month for October 1968 and Field Maintenance Mechanic of the fourth quarter of 1968.]

Cremation is planned at McNutt Funeral Home in Conroe. No services will be held, but please offer your prayers for his soul. His ashes will be spread at Christmas Bay, San Luis Pass, Galveston, at a later date. Family asks that donations be considered, in his name, to either Wounded Warriors, or any organization helping animals.
