Major Elton Z. Taylor

Zack Taylor, 73, of Jasper, Texas, passed away September 1, 2007 at Dubuis Hospital in Beaumont.  A native of Big Spring, Texas, he had lived in Jasper for many years where he had owned and operated Z-Key and Zacks Locksmith and had managed the Rural Water Supply Corp. for over 24 years.

Memorial funeral services were held on Saturday, September 8, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at Beech Grove Baptist Church in Jasper under the direction of Forest Oaks Funeral Home.  Private interment services followed at West Oaks Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou Taylor of Jasper; sons, Elton Taylor III, and Rory Taylor both of Jasper, and Terry Taylor of Alamo Gordo, NM; daughters, Liz Taylor of Alamogordo, NM and Sherrill Ausmus of Bronson, Texas; sister, Wilma Rudeseal of Carrolton, Texas along with 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
