| The remains of a Caribou at Dak Pek. Colonel Robert Payne, formerly of the 458th, supplied some details: "The crash occurred on 29 May 1968 at approximately 1100hrs during a big operation bringing in grunts and all manner of supplies, including the army General's private outhouse. The bird was a Red Tail from the 458th, KC189." |
