| This was taken shortly after leaving Cam Ranh and turning up the coast headed to Nha Trang. I don't recall the name of the islands. Do you
remember? (Webmaster Note: Since the land is on the right, it would appear that the aircraft was southbound in this photo. It's hard to tell, but that island may have been Ap Binh Ba, just off the southern tip of the Cam Ranh peninsula. The clouds are obscuring the view of the mountains on the mainland, so it is hard for me to tell. The island does not appear high enough to have been Hon Tre, just east of Nha Trang.) |
