- How do I join the Caribou Association?
If you were an Air Force C-7A crewmember, mechanic, or anyone else who worked to
further the mission of the Air Force C-7A, you are eligible to pay
your "Caribou Tax" and join. The "tax" is
$10.00 per year, but many find that paying for several years in
advance is more convenient. Our Treasurer has the technology to
accurately track tax payments. Checks should be made out to The
Caribou Association and sent to:
Tom Snodgrass
2515 S White Cliff Ln
Wichita, KS 67210-1924
- Please include a short note to Tom with as much of the following
information as possible for your inclusion in the roster:
Name: (First, Middle Initial, Last)
Address: (Complete mailing address for the newsletter with ZIP,
please)
Unit: (The unit affiliation you wish to show in the roster — only
one, please)
Rank: (Highest rank attained or current rank if still on active duty
or Reserve/ANG)
Year: Usually the primary year of C-7A affiliation. Many use
their Vietnam tour start year.
EMail Address: Very important. This allows the
Association and other members to contact you.
NOTE: We do not publish your mailing address
on the web site, just email. We also honor requests not to be
listed at all.
- How do I get incorrect information in the roster
changed?
Send an email to Pat Hanavan
and tell him what needs to be changed. It is important to keep
both your mailing address and email address up to date.
- Using the web site
The home page has a list of main links at the right. Just click
on the one of interest. The Caribou Association graphic at
the top of each page is a link back to the home page. Just click
on it to get back to square one. (This is a new feature, so a
few may not work. If you find any broken links or trashed pages,
just drop me a note at webmaster@C-7ACaribou.com.
- Why am I getting viruses from
the webmaster?
There have been a spate of virus reports from members. The
messages containing the viruses may show them having been sent by webmaster@C-7ACaribou.com,
other official addresses, or addresses you don't recognize at all.
Most of these have been caused by viruses. First of all, do
a complete scan for viruses on your own machine. If you don't have
an anti-virus program, please check this discussion of viruses
and firewalls and why
it is essential to have virus protection.
- How do I get some of my photos posted on the web site?
Please read this page
for complete instructions.
